The life of a Velo Culture inner tube is a happy one, instead of ending up in landfill for centuries to come, they arrive with us in the North East of England, have a bath and a good old scrub, hang out in the sunshine to dry before being turned into one of our products and starting a whole new chapter in life.
We use as much of the tube as possible to keep waste to a minimum, patches and branding help to give character to the products and make each one unique, valves are used as zipper pulls.
Our inner tubes and parts are donated by cyclists, local shops, and the odd not so local, doing their bit for the upcycling cause.
If you’d like to donate tubes, whether an individual or a workshop, or put a tube drop in in your establishment then please get in touch so we can arrange collection.
We’ll take all shapes and sizes, patched or unpatched but NO SLIME filled please and a complete tube length with valve intact :)
